So.. Hello all, from Sunny Santa Fe, New Mexico. After a record blizzard this spring we decided to drive up to the Santa Fe Ski Area to see what the town looks like from above. With over five feet of fresh powder on the slopes, we decided to showshoe our way around and test our southern blood against the Rockies. Sante Fe, by the way, is down between the near and far mountains, and can't really be seen due to the blown snow in the valley.Thursday, May 31, 2007

TBONE ON THE JOB...

Yep, I've been suckin' on the self-employed tit for quite a while now but it's time to
get my old 53 year old ass back to work. The kind folks at WVLA here in Baton Rouge
have been nice enough to offer me a very cool job and damnit, I'm taking it!
I'll be their senior AVID editor and janitor for the foreseeable future. It's going to be an
interesting ride!

Je me souviens ...
Yesterday as I pulled into the gray, wet parking lot outside the Hotel Beaumont, I got a call starting with the magical +33 ... My former student Marc called to say that his teaching gig in Paris -- he teaches English in two middle schools -- is up in July and he's planning to stay for at least another year to continue his French Language studies at American University. Ah, Paris ... my fifth tour begins in two weeks. Time to revisit the archives for some memorable moments. C'est la vie ...

I did it, TBone.
Hey, nobody puts Baby in a corner. You challenged me to prove my web literacy and I had to take it on. Thanks blogger.com for making this part easy. My Mac's eWeb is also easy but it's turned into an art project and the paint isn't dry yet.
