Aww. I wish. Just got word of a trip bonus. Don't know if I told you we have one bitch of an itinerary just getting off the continent -- Houston to CHI to Newark (for 9 hours) to Frankfurt THEN to London. BUT ... looks like in Newark we can take the train to Penn Station where an EF bus will take us 10 blocks to Times Square and beyond for a short while. On the way back, we've got a long layover at CDG in Paris. Not sure where I'll go for that last bite yet...
Know what they call an Egg McMuffin in France? An Egg Mc Muffin! Ha! (though we try to stay away from Merkin food as often as we can. I'd rather shop à la carte in a grocery store than stand in line at Mickey D's. Bien sûr!
It was a beggar dog outside Notre Dame cathedral. Its owner was nearby. Beggars at European tourist sites I've visited are very common. (Gypsies in Florence were most aggressive.)
This beggar must have taken a marketing course. AND ... weird thing was the dog hardly moved. With all those people (it is ALWAYS crowded) he hardly moved. At first we thought he was a sculpture.

I love the pictures from France... too fine. Typical American tourist... love the hair doos!
Do you need a ride to the airport?

Might I suggest Popeye's?
Or... if you are looking for some real Home Cookin' by that time... Mickey D's!
