So.. Hello all, from Sunny Santa Fe, New Mexico. After a record blizzard this spring we decided to drive up to the Santa Fe Ski Area to see what the town looks like from above. With over five feet of fresh powder on the slopes, we decided to showshoe our way around and test our southern blood against the Rockies. Sante Fe, by the way, is down between the near and far mountains, and can't really be seen due to the blown snow in the valley.

When this view greets you as you walk out your front door,
it's not hard to feel the majesty and mystery of the Southern Rockies.
